I'm Chris and in 2023 I decided to embark on what has been the most challenging and rewarding career move ever. With 33 years of driving experience, a bit of sports coaching and mentoring thrown in, why not train to be a driving instructor? I am newly qualified, but I've met all the standards and been actively developing these skills with drivers for almost 2 years now. My techniques are up to the minute and style is relaxed, easy going and calm. My training has been delivered by industry experts and I continue to seek their wisdom daily. I’ve started Parker-Up Driving School and Driver Training to help you achieve your goals.

This is your journey but we will take it together. Your honesty, commitment, curiosity and determination are all I ask you to bring. The knowledge and experience we can work on developing together. I aim to make the lessons safe, informative and fun to ensure you are a safe driver for life. 

My focus has always been automatic cars and that is the way the world of personal transport is going. The limitations of hiring, paying more or having less choice with an auto are all but gone. Mainstream manufacturers are all turning to alternatives to the internal combustion engine and with the technological advance we will see the demise of the clutch pedal. Modern Auto's are fuel efficient and straightforward to drive. If your dad, brother, sister, mother, aunt, uncle or dog insists you need to learn the ways of the clutch, I got you covered!
